We here at Mister Coffee Group, Bodecker Brewed and Beans and Grind would like to thank you for being our customers and part of our community. We’re happy to announce that we’ve took part in the “Trees of Joy” event. This initiative grants Wishes which have an extraordinary ability to touch lives, offering hope, joy, and support during medical challenges. With every Wish granted, children facing critical illnesses have an opportunity to experience the transformational have an opportunity to experience transformation magic of their wish coming true, Benjamin’s had a shopping experience.
Mason is a happy-go-lucky boy who enjoys hanging out with his friends, being active, and gaming. He dreams of one day becoming a YouTuber. At the age of nine, life took an unexpected turn for Mason: he received the shocking news that he had cancer. “We were so scared, devastated, and worried so much about Mason’s future and everything he was about to go through,” Mason’s mom Kristen shared.
Following this diagnosis, Mason underwent four intense rounds of chemotherapy and an unexpected surgery. “By the end of his treatment, Mason was completely shut down,” Kristen shared. “He did not want to talk to anyone. There were times during his treatment where he was in so much pain he would be crying and panicking, asking things like ‘why did this have to happen to me?’”
Now at eleven years old, Mason has recovered and is for the most part back to his old self, according to his family. His cancer journey taught his family how important they are to each other and how grateful they are to have one another to lean on during challenging times.
